What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, the name you provide, and a securely hashed password.
  • Order details: what you bought, the amount, the currency, the payment status and the payment reference returned by the payment provider.
  • Download records: which files were issued to you and how many times they have been downloaded, so we can support you if a link expires.
  • Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security and to keep the site working.

We do not receive or store your full card number. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe; PayPal payments are handled by PayPal.

Why we use it

  • To create your account and deliver the files you paid for.
  • To email download links, receipts and essential service messages.
  • To provide support and answer questions about an order.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the store secure.
  • To meet accounting and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who we share it with

  • Payment providers — Stripe and PayPal, to process your payment.
  • Email delivery — so download links and receipts reach your inbox.
  • Hosting and infrastructure — the servers that run this site and store the files.

Each of these receives only what is necessary for its function.

How long we keep it

  • Account data: while your account exists, and for a short period afterwards for support and record-keeping.
  • Order and payment records: kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Server logs: kept for a limited period for security purposes, then deleted.

Your rights

Subject to the law where you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
  • correct anything inaccurate;
  • delete your data (we may need to keep order records where the law requires it);
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • stop sending you marketing messages at any time.

Email contact@goodnotesplan.com and we will respond within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days. If you are a California resident, you also have the right to know what categories of information we collect and to request deletion, and we do not sell personal information.

Security

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Access to customer records is restricted to the people who need it to run the store and support customers.

Children

This store is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will note the new version on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
